Government User Data Request (Page 2)
AMAM-CIB-M
Date: 13 May 2014
SUBJECT: Change to AMCOM Classified Engineering and Technical Data Process
-
Beginning 1 June, 2014, AMCOM CIO/G6 will no longer provide Classified Engineering
and Technical data via CD-Rom or hard copy (paper). Instead, data will be provided
via secure SIPRNET mail (Smail) accounts. A SIPRNET account may be requested through
your Organization's Security Office. The following information will be needed:
-
The submission of a DD2875 form which is a system authorization access request or
(SAAR).
- The signatures of your supervisor, IAO, and Security Manager.
-
After a SIPRNET account has been established:
-
Submit requests for Classified Engineering and Technical Data via normal channels;
requests will be logged in and processed following standard procedures; only the
delivery method has changed.
-
When submitting a request, please include both the SIPRNET mail address and NIPRNET
address. (This is important as you will receive a notice via NIPRNET mail that you
have Smail - contents of which will be encrypted and only the requestor will be
able to open.)
-
Requests will continue to be processed for data in the same manner via the Information Management Division web site.
-
We look forward to this new and expedited way of doing business and will assist
in your transition. If you have any questions, Mission Service Help Desk @ (256) 955-0196 (DSN 645-0196), or usarmy.redstone.amcom.mbx.g6-edms-tag@army.mil.
